At the Temple of the Breath, sixteen-year-old Ren is a perennial failure whose qi 'leaks' into formless mist instead of striking true. When the ancient and deadly Templebreaker trial is revived, Ren must enter the Glade of Falling to extinguish an unburnable flame. To win, he must prove that his greatest weakness is actually a power capable of echoing the very foundations of the mountain.
