Story Introduction

At Aetheria Academy, rank is everything, and Kai is at the very bottom with a failing soot sprite familiar. When his familiar drags him toward the Forbidden Floor, Kai must choose between certain expulsion or a dark, cursed power. The iron gates have closed; there is no turning back from the shadows.
